February 25, 2012

On February 18th Syndicated Sound, Sophisticated Ladies, our Band, and Technical Support Team, performed at the South Central Classic in Birmingham Alabama.

Both of our Show Choirs, our Band, and our Tech Team were at their very best that day with Syndicated Sound bringing home the trophy for 1st place in their division.  All of our Students represented our Program, School, Community and Themselves proudly and professionally.   I want congratulate all the Students for their hard work and efforts both in the rehearsal room and classrooms.  I also want to thank our Volunteer Parents that gave of their time this weekend to Chaperone so please join me in thanking. Mrs. Jones, Mrs. Uriel, Mrs. Wilcox, Mrs. Loparnos, Mrs. Fisher, Mrs. Stocks, Mrs. Shaffer, Mrs. Thompson, Mr. Sanchez, and Mrs. Sanchez.  I want to also thank Mr. England and Mr. Bigley for their hard work in transportation of our equipment and “roadie” assistance back stage.  A special thanks goes out to Mr. Sanchez for fixing the problem with one of our Bus doors, and to the photographer that found it amusing to take a picture of me while I rested my eyes momentarily on the long ride to Birmingham!!

In closing I want to thank and congratulate Mr. Cheeseman for all his hard work and dedication to our students.

Syndicated Sound is also invited to compete in the FAME National Show Choir Championship on stage at Hammerstein Ball Room in New York City in March 2012.  Sophisticated Ladies will also compete at Orlandofest show choir competition at Universal Studios in Orlando, FL in Mayl 2012.
